The IAUG Autumn Workshop, which will return to the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone on Thursday 17th October 2019. This one day event is free of charge to IAUG member organisations.
The agenda includes a number of very topical issues including a Revenue presentation on Preparations for Brexit, an OGP presentation on e-Invoicing, use of Fixed Asset Scanning in Agresso/Business World and will include an update from the IAUG and Unit4.

Agresso Business World Training, Carlow 30th September – 4th October 2019
Embridge Consulting, one of the accredited Unit4 partners at our conference in conjunction with the Institute of Technology in Carlow, have organized 5 one-day training courses over the week of the 30th September to 4th October, covering topics such as MS7 differences, Browser, Excelerator, Workflow and System Administration. Each course can be booked individually.
Further courses are planned for November/December but details are not released yet.
The IAUG welcomes Embridges collaborative approach to delivering courses in conjunction with AUG member orgaisations and providing a schedule of courses for Agresso/Business World users in Ireland.

Agresso Business World Training, Limerick 19th – 23rd August 2019
One of the areas of feedback from our recent conference as the lack of scheduled training in available for Agresso / Business World users in Ireland.
Embridge Consulting, one of the accredited Unit4 partners at our conference in conjunction with the University of Limerick have organized 5 one-day training courses over the week of the 19th to 23rd August, covering topics such as MS7 differences, Browser, Excelerator, Workflow and System Administration. Each course can be booked individually.

John Kelly has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for this years conference on the topic of ‘Creating a High Performance Mindset’
John Kelly is a Director at Deloitte Cork, in audit and assurance. John works across a wide variety of
industries, and with clients in both Ireland and internationally. John started studying to become an
accountant at age 34.
John is renowned for his rugby career, playing professionally for both Munster and Ireland. John played both wing and center, and was a part of the team that won the Heineken Cup with Munster in 2006. John retired from professional rugby in 2007. John is still involved with rugby, in a voluntary capacity, as he is currently the chairman of Munster Rugby’s Professional Game Board, which has oversight of the operations of the provinces professional squad.
John also holds a Higher Diploma in Applied Science and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from UCC.

Early Bird registration is now closed and we are delighted that so many of our members opted to avail of the discount. As a result accommodation bookings in the conference hotel (Lough Eske Castle) are reaching capacity for the Wednesday evening. We are working with nearby hotels to arrange accommodation packages and will provide details in due course. Accommodation in the conference hotel will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Our most popular package is Package A (2 nights), as many delegates have opted to travel the day or evening before the conference. This includes the conference fee and two nights accommodation on the Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April.

This year we recognise that many delegate will opt to travel the day or evening before the conference and are offering a special two night package, which includes the conference fee and two nights accommodation on the Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April.
You are advised to book early as late bookings this year many not have accommodation provided in the conference hotel due to the number of rooms available. It is expected that this two night package will be very popular and an early booking discount is available until 31st January 2018

Robert McCutcheon, chair of the User Group announced at the October Workshop that the IAUG were honouring a long standing commitment to host their annual conference in the North West. The venue selected for the 2018 annual conference is the picturesque Lough Eske Castle, just outside Donegal town.
The conference will take place on Thursday and Friday the 26th & 27th April 2018 and to facilitate those travelling there will be a two night accommodation package available covering the Wednesday and Thursday evening in addition to the standard one night package.

The Irish Agresso User Group (IAUG) would like to invite you to our next workshop, which will take place in
the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone, Co. Westmeath on Thursday 26th October 2017. This is a one day event and it
is free of charge to IAUG member organisations.
A final agenda will issue shortly, however planned topics for the workshop include: a Revenue Commissioners
Update, a Treasury presentation, a Customer Upgrade experience, and a demo of a new reporting system.
